How to Know If It’s Working - Episode 21

One of the hardest moments comes after you test something.

You put an offer in front of real people.

You run the workshop.
You offer the coaching session.
You share the resource.

And then you wait.

The question arrives quickly:

Did it work?

In this episode of After the Book, I talk about how to answer that question without relying on guesswork, emotion, or vanity metrics.

Because most people look at the wrong things.

They look at:

  • sales

  • likes

  • comments

  • compliments

Those things aren’t meaningless.

But they aren’t the whole story.

The better question is:

Did it help?

Did someone gain clarity?
Did something change?
Did a real transformation begin?

I also explore the difference between encouragement and evidence.

Encouragement feels good.

Evidence teaches you something.

And if you’re trying to build a business from your book, evidence is what helps you make better decisions.

Because the goal isn’t applause.

The goal is helping people.

And learning enough to keep improving.
