About The Book-to-Business Blueprint
Most authors don’t sit down to write a book thinking,
“This will become a business.”
They’re focused on the message.
The reader.
Getting the thing finished.
Then the book is done — or almost done — and a new question shows up:
“Now what?”
That’s where this project comes from.
Why This Exists
I’ve been on both sides of this.
I once wrote a simple ebook with no real business plan behind it.
It started gaining traction… and suddenly I was scrambling.
I hadn’t thought through:
what the book naturally led to
how readers might want help next
or how to build something lean instead of reactive
I was catching up instead of building intentionally.
Over time, I realized something important:
Most authors already have a business hidden inside their book.
They just can’t see it yet.
The frameworks.
The transformation.
The ways people could be helped next.
That’s what tends to stay invisible.
What I Believe
I don’t believe authors need:
complex funnels
big launches
constant content
or a dozen offers
I believe the smartest path is usually:
start small
clarify what your book truly does
build one simple way to help people
and let the business grow naturally from there
Your book isn’t just a book.
It’s a foundation.
What This Project Is (and Isn’t)
The Book-to-Business Blueprint isn’t:
a publishing course
a marketing hype machine
or a “scale fast” system
It’s a calm, step-by-step way to:
see what your book already contains
make better decisions about what to build
and move forward without overwhelm
One clear step at a time.
Who This Is For
This is for authors who:
have written (or are close to finishing) a nonfiction book
want their work to lead somewhere meaningful
feel overwhelmed by too many options
and would rather build something small and solid than big and fragile
If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
About Me
My name is Lee Baucom.
I’ve spent years building businesses around ideas, frameworks, and expertise — often starting with something simple, like a book.
This project is a reflection of what I wish I’d seen earlier:
a clearer path from message to model.
No hype.
No rush.
Just clarity and forward motion.
